Two of my most favorite shows are on at the same time: Veronica Mars on SoapNet and My So-Called Life on Sundance.  I think Jordan Catalano beats Logan Echolls by a hair.

Last night’s Mad Men made me root for Peggy, feel sad for Roger and hate Don.

Oh, Vampire Diaries!

I love you so and I’m not afraid to admit it.  The twist in last night’s episode was so good!

Voice Over

I’ve realized that a lot of TV shows I watch or have watched use the voice over narration device to assist in telling the story.  Some do it better than others, e.g. My So-Called Life, Veronica Mars, even Glee to a certain extent.  But most shows use it for fluffy metaphors or unfunny commentary.  Some of the worst offenders:

• Grey’s Anatomy
• Revenge
• Gossip Girl

I don’t need a show to tell me the definition of the word doubt, or that surgeons experience stress or that Upper East Siders love the spring.  Please just stop.

Thoughts about Fashion Star

I like to watch NBC’s Fashion Star to see what clothes are bought and will be in stores the next day.

I don’t like the feedback from the fashion “icons” and don’t feel they really mentor or add to the content of the show.

What I wish they would show is the conversation between the buyers during their decision on who to eliminate.

Comic Books

Sunday night’s finale of The Walking Dead was pretty darn good.  After a season of being on a farm for too long, spending too much time deciding what to do with Randall for too long and for Lori still be so incredibly annoying, the last few episodes paid off.  Now, I feel I must read the comic books before Season 3.

Did I really just get the chills watching Blair run down the aisle?

I think the Dharma Initiative is responsible for the disappearance of the ‘63 on Alcatraz.

Watched episodes 1 & 2 of Season 2 of The Walking Dead last night.  This show is stressing me out!  It’s so good though.  I *might* have found a suitable replacement for Lost.  Can’t wait for Sunday’s ep.
